2025 Candidates

Brandon Drobenak is a proud resident of West Goshen Township and a dedicated public servant with over 20 years of leadership and engineering experience in the U.S. Army. Brandon has led large, complex organizations, managed multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects, and coordinated emergency response efforts impacting thousands of lives. His career has been built on service, accountability, and delivering results under pressure.

A resident of the township for the past five years, Brandon and his family have made West Goshen their home. As a long-term resident, he is deeply invested in the success and sustainability of the community. With a strong belief in responsible governance, strategic planning, and transparent leadership, Brandon is committed to preserving the character of West Goshen while promoting smart growth, infrastructure resilience, and a high quality of life for all residents.

As a candidate for Township Supervisor, Brandon brings a proven record of leadership, a collaborative mindset, and a mission-first attitude. He is ready to listen, ready to lead, and ready to serve the people of West Goshen.

If elected as a West Goshen Township Auditor, Jeff Rice will bring both managerial and business experience he has acquired in the mortgage industry for more than 25 years. As a mortgage advisor, Jeff has helped thousands of people with their financial decision making. In his current role, he oversees the health and stability of his mortgage firm’s financials, and is responsible for managing more than 50 employees.

Across his career, he’s applied business and customer service skills to partner with colleagues and clients from multiple backgrounds. Jeff’s experience successfully managing budgets and his knowledge of every aspect of management and finance position him well to serve as Township Auditor.

A 25-year resident of West Goshen, Jeff understands the planning, policies and proper execution that contributes to maintaining as desirable a community such as West Goshen Township. Concerned about the township’s future, he would like the opportunity to ensure the same quality of life he and his family have enjoyed for 25 years, will remain for future West Goshen residents. 

Jeff and his wife Sue raised their four children in West Goshen and have dedicated much of their time volunteering throughout the area. Jeff coached the East Side Little League for 14 years and coached football at SS Simon and Jude.  He also served as Athletic Director at both SS Simon and Jude and Chester County CYO.  Jeff’s commitment to this community, appreciation for the nature of our township, and willingness to volunteer, demonstrates the values we need in representing our township.

Jeff is currently a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, the local Board of Realtors, and the Chester County Chamber of Commerce. He also sits on an advisory panel for one of the country’s leading mortgage lenders.

Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and family at the Delaware beaches, traveling to new locations, and attending concerts and sporting events.

"As an Eagle Scout, volunteer fire fighter, attorney,  parent volunteer, and coach, I have spent my life working to make the greater West Chester area a better and safer community to live.  Growing up in West Goshen Township and now raising my family here, I have a unique understanding of our community, our neighbors, and the issues we face.  This unique sense of understanding, my background and experiences provide me with the common sense and real-world approach needed for the responsibilities of a judge."  

Andy Rongaus brings 25 years of experience as a civil and criminal litigator, a career marked by protecting Pennsylvania families and upholding justice. A lifelong Chester County resident, Andy grew up in West Goshen Township and is now raising his family in the same community he has always called home.

Andy began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Chester and Delaware Counties, handling serious criminal cases. He later served as Chief of the Drug Strike Force Section in the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, overseeing statewide drug investigations involving wiretaps and grand juries. He then became Deputy Chief Counsel to the Pennsylvania State Police, managing all civil litigation and legal review for the agency.

Today, Andy is a partner at Siana Law, where he defends civil rights cases and represents police departments and municipalities.

Beyond the courtroom, Andy has spent over 30 years as a volunteer firefighter and currently serves as President of the First West Chester Fire Company. He is also a scout leader, youth sports coach, school volunteer, and serves on the board of the Care Center Foundation in West Chester.

Andy’s trial experience spans all three U.S. District Courts in Pennsylvania, over 40 Common Pleas Courts, and the state and federal appellate courts—including the U.S. Supreme Court.

He is the only candidate for Magisterial District Judge in Court 15-2-03 who has practiced law in Pennsylvania and experience practicing in Pennsylvania’s Magisterial District Courts.

Andy Rongaus is ready to bring common sense, fairness, and real-world legal experience to the bench—serving West Goshen, Westtown, and Thornbury Townships with integrity from day one.
