CORRECTION:

A recent West Goshen Republican Committee voter's guide cited an April 12, 2022 House vote on HB 972 for Rep. Chris Pielli. He was not in office then. That citation was an error, and we are correcting it.

The women's sports record that applies to him is HB 158 (2025-26), the Protect Women's Sports Act. The House Judiciary Committee re-referred it twice without changes, on April 27 and July 1, 2026, and Rep. Pielli voted yes both times. That kept it from getting a floor vote and away from Shapiro's desk.
